All the components of a Parla parquet board are real wood. Each board is composed of  three mutually supporting layers designed to form an extremely durable construction and to counteract warping.

The surface layer is made of hardwood and the parquet´s lifespan depends on the durability of this component. the middle and bottom layers are made from selected Nordic softwood.

The grain in the middle layer of Parla parquet is vertical, thereby improving the parquet´s durability and preventing shape changes. Skilfully made Parla parquet does not warp or bend, and it remains first-class condition for years and years.
